Illustration With 22 plates, including the frontispiece, two folding maps, and 19 plates. The plates depict plants, animals, and such persons as “Kefta Abay, high priest of the Nile." The maps include the “Plan of two attempts to arrive at the Source of the Nile” and the “Map containing a chart to the Arabian Gulf with its Egyptian, Ethiopian, and Arabian Coasts from Suez to Bal El Mandeb”.
