Contemporary full vellum, rebacked skillfully saving the original spine, with blind tooling on upper and lower boards, and decorative blind centerpiece on upper board. Flat spine with recent gilt title on black calf label.
Large 4to (308x210mm).
Lacks final leaf. Some worm holing, mostly at margins. The last five leaves with some restorations. Minor water staining at lower right corner of the last fifth of the book not affecting the text. A good example. Text clean and crisp.
P. 291 leaves. Title trimmed and mounted on eighteenth century paper. Part way through 6 leaves are substituted for 6 leaves of same material from an earlier section of the book.
