Notes This book commemorates Ernest Archduke of Austria’s entry into Antwerp in 1594. Van der Borscht was a prominent Flemish engraver, famed for his beautiful representations of Antwerp’s facades, its triumphal arches, and other notable scenes. The plate depicts Antwerp's facades, arches, and different views of the procession making its way toward the city of Antwerp.
