Notes Cartomancy is fortune-telling or divination using a deck of cards. Forms of cartomancy appeared soon after playing cards were first introduced into Europe in the 14th century. Practitioners of cartomancy are generally known as cartomancers, card readers, or simply readers. This book shows various forms of occult divination and gives a brief overview of where some of these forms of divination originated from. Bookplate of the Fraser Institute on the verso of the top cover saying that this book was presented to them by John H. R. Molson, of Molson Canadian brewing fame. There are also red stamps from the library on select pages.
